Check out our Quarter One Longfellow Leopard News!
Longfellow Leopard Newspaper Q1
Longfellow raised $1,941.28 for the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Kristine Beck. Kristie served the RPS community for 19 years as a first-grade teacher at Sunset Terrace and Longfellow Elementary Schools. In her years of teaching, she inspired students and families to reach for the stars and be positive community members.
Longfellow teachers and RPS admin wore Green Bay Packer garb because it's Kristine's favorite team! That's how much we love her!

To help our students fully engage in their learning, students are encouraged not to bring cell phones or other electronic devices, including smart watches and earbuds/airpods, to school. See more information about our cell phone procedures for each school level at https://rochesterschools.org/cell-phone-procedures

Rochester Public Schools uses the Standard Response Protocol in response to emergencies that may occur in our school buildings. Students and staff will train, practice, and drill the protocol throughout the year. Learn more about what "hold," "secure," "lockdown," "evacuate," and "shelter" mean: https://www.rochesterschools.org/standard-response-protocol

We are very excited to welcome our Pinewood friends back to school next week!
For the safety of our students, please follow these steps when dropping off and picking up:
1. Pull all the way up to the front of our unloading zone.
2. Remain in your vehicle.
3. Students may only enter and exit out of the right side of the vehicle.
4. If students arrive after the 7:55am bell, a parent needs to sign their child in at the office.
Thank you for your time and support!
Best wishes,
Amy Adams
Principal
