MEET OUR PRINCIPAL
Principal Amy Adams
My name is Amy Adams, and I am proud to be the Principal of Longfellow 45-15 District-Wide Elementary School. Longfellow is a school that prides itself on a welcoming community, positive relationships, and high expectations of all students. We are a 1:1 iPad school, and our students and staff find using technology as a learning tool enriching and engaging. Our staff and students are also proud of our on-site gardens, Student Lounge, and our many clubs that meet throughout the week.
About Me:
Outside of the school day, I enjoy spending my time outdoors-biking, running, hiking, and fishing. My coffee is usually close at hand, along with a book of choice.
What's the best part about being the Principal?
The best part about being a leader in the Rochester Public Schools is the amazing students, families, and staff that I have the opportunity to partner with throughout their journey.
My favorite thing about Longfellow is...
My favorite thing about Longfellow is our Monday Assemblies. Each Monday, we gather as an entire school to celebrate accomplishments, share information, and discuss character traits. The highlight of the assembly is our poem, “I AM SOMEBODY” by Andreal Davis. We recite it each Monday and continue to live it throughout our week. I am grateful for our amazing Longfellow Family!
